Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Volunteer Factor. We are excited to have you on board as a volunteer. Before you proceed to volunteer with us, please read and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and legally allowed to work in the country you reside in. If you are under 18 years old, you must provide written consent from your legal guardian.
2. Commitment: As a volunteer, you are expected to commit a minimum of 10 hours per month to the organization for at least 6 months. You are also expected to attend all training sessions and meetings.
3. Confidentiality: You may be privy to sensitive information about the organization and its clients. As such, you must maintain confidentiality and not disclose any information to a third party without the organization’s permission.
4. Code of Conduct: You are expected to adhere to the organization’s code of conduct and conduct yourself in a professional manner. This includes treating everyone with respect and dignity, refraining from any discriminatory or harassing behavior, and following all organizational policies and procedures.
5. Voluntary Service: You understand that you are volunteering your services without expectation of payment, and you will not be entitled to any compensation or benefits.
6. Liability: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Volunteer Factor and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your volunteer service.
7. Termination: Volunteer Factor reserves the right to terminate your volunteer service at any time, with or without cause.
8. Ownership of Work: Any work or intellectual property created during your volunteer service with Volunteer Factor shall be owned by Volunteer Factor, and you agree to assign all rights to such work to Volunteer Factor.
9. Use of Image: You grant Volunteer Factor permission to use your image, name, and likeness in connection with Volunteer Factor’s promotional and marketing activities.
10. Background Checks: You agree to undergo a criminal background check and any other screening deemed necessary by Volunteer Factor.
11. Registration Fee: You understand that there may be a registration fee associated with your volunteer service, and you agree to pay this fee if applicable.
12. Personal Risk: You acknowledge that volunteering with Volunteer Factor may involve personal risk and you agree to assume such risk.
13. Program Fees: You acknowledge that there may be program fees associated with your volunteer service, and you agree to pay these fees if applicable.
14. Payment and Refund: You agree to pay all fees associated with your volunteer service in a timely manner. If you are unable to attend your scheduled volunteer program, you may be eligible for a refund, subject to the organization’s policies and procedures.
15. Drugs and Alcohol Abuse: You agree to refrain from using drugs and alcohol while volunteering with Volunteer Factor.
16. Behaviour: You agree to conduct yourself in a manner that is always respectful and professional while volunteering with Volunteer Factor. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate may result in termination of your volunteer service.
17. Under 18 Volunteers: If you are under 18 years old, you must have written consent from your legal guardian to volunteer with Volunteer Factor . Your legal guardian must also accompany you during all volunteering activities.
18. Agreement: By submitting your application to volunteer with Volunteer Factor, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions.
